So as you may know if you read my Want It Wednesday post last month, I’ve been on the hunt for a great pair of black and white print pants. I’ve tried several brands from Lane Bryant to Target, and after much searching, I found a pair in the most unlikely of places…Walmart!
After ordering the pants online, I was a bit skeptical. I told myself I would just wait it out and not get too excited about them until I actually received them and tried them on. Could a pair of pants from Walmart with a price tag of only $15.88 really be the answer to my black and white print pant conundrum?
Turns out, they were perfect! The ones I purchased are a knit slouchy pant with a graphic tribal print from Walmart’s Plus Moda brand. I paired them with a white slouchy tank and sunglasses that I thrifted from Savers Value Village, a denim jacket from Dressbarn, a funky geometric necklace from Forever 21, Steve Madden wedges, and perhaps one of the greatest finds ever, a classic fedora that I found at the Dollar Tree off 291 Highway in Independence for $1!
This was the perfect outfit to wear today as I headed out of the house, not just because it was a beautiful 80 degree day, but because I wore this outfit somewhere special. For those of you who haven’t followed me on Facebook or Twitter yet, I am pleased to announce on the blog for the first time that I am now officially a part of the Bohme team as a Stylist at their Independence boutique.
Bohme is a special boutique, and its models of merchandising and customer service are two of the reasons why I was extremely happy to become involved. I was also excited to get involved with Bohme because of their back story. Bohme was started by two sisters from Rio de Janeiro, Vivien and Fernanda Bohme, who started their first store back in 2007 in Salt Lake City. After just six years, the sisters have expanded across the country, with seventeen stores altogether as of today. The Independence location is the first Bohme Boutique in the State of Missouri, and is located inside Independence Center.
Bohme specializes in stylish and trendy boutique wear, from chevron prints and colorful skinnies, to blingy denim and edgy tees. They do carry some plus sizes up to size 3X in tops and up to size 21 in denim (including denim capris). Plus when you walk into Bohme, you won’t just be greeted by your run-of-the-mill mall store clerk, you’ll be greeted by someone like me – a Stylist – who will work with you throughout the shopping process if you’d like and make sure that you find that perfect outfit.
I’m really looking forward to this new adventure and I can’t wait to see what the future brings! If you haven’t stopped in to Bohme yet, be sure to head over there soon and see all the spectacular pieces they have in stock!
